A new consultancy targeted towards end users in the corporate clothing industry. The consultancy is headed by Stephen Levick who is a chartered Textile Technologist and has over 30 years experience in the textile and clothing industries.
The prime motivation behind the association is to assist end users to select appropriate suppliers during the build up to contract period and rescue missions should contracts fail or not perform to a satisfactory level.
In today’s market place suppliers and contracts are consolidating – resulting in organisations endeavouring to evaluate a bewildering array of product; most of which the end user organisation has little or no knowledge, whilst suppliers have a considerable appreciation.
The sales organisations, which can be formidable, will agree to or ignore potential problems, which should have been addressed prior to the awarding of the contract.
The majority of the profit is secured during the initial roll out period, thereafter the sales people who negotiated, may leave the field. Leaving account executives on both sides, endeavouring to make the contract work. In some instances suppliers are working to the letter of the contract rather than the spirit, with logistics that are only viable for the initial volume and not for subsequent servicing.
